How can you find all the Hazardous Materials in a city centre multilevel building (made up of five buildings) built over 126 years ago?

Richard Crookes Constructions’ (RCC) team appreciated the rich heritage of the Tattersalls Club when works commenced at the Pitt Street site. Now, they’re transforming the iconic building in Sydney’s CBD – revitalising the landmark venue while honouring it’s 126-year history.

Property Risk Australia helped RCC with the following hazardous materials services:

  • Fully destructive hazardous materials assessments, dovetailed into a two stage Inspection Test Plan (ITP), mitigation further any risk to contractors of finding unexpected hazardous materials
  • Helping RCC supervise contractors, specifically where specific RPE was mandated
  • Green Zone monitoring; ensuring that the green (safe) zone was adequately cleaned, managed and maintained, ensuring contractor’s safe passage to the work area

To complement the hazardous materials consultancy services, PRA also provided the following further occupational hygiene services fort he project:

  • Occupational Health and Hygiene Management Plans
  • Health risk assessments
  • Exposure control plans
  • Health surveillance activities
